Chopper Tom it has been my experience that this can be done, but with some thought needed for what you want to achieve. If you do not have the cam and or compression to handle this intake,lower rpm performance might suffer. Filling the plenum area of the intake with A+b type epoxy will help with vacuum signal to carb(s) to avoid bogging due to vacuum drop when starting at lower rpms such as would be seen in street type driving. This is a classic case of the bigger isnt always better syndrom. As I said this can be done but dont lose sight of the big picture.
