I had my concerns?

Wow! When I first saw the build I was not to sure what the finished product would look like. Now I can't wait to see the front end on it and what a great use of a kinda orphan Corvette[ddev Way to have a vision and make it happen. Congratulations! Steve

Found a grille today for my front nose piece.Well, part of the front end. This section will be the center piece for the frontend.I will have to connect to it top and sides to sweep around and back a little towards the engine with sheet metal. It's cast, old and is 16" wide and 20" tall.It is from an old CASE dozer/tractor,sick........

Looks good! I hope you keep up on building its "twin" in the introductions page![cl

Hey fella's, I think i'm gonna chop her 2" more ,thats 5" total,I don't like the 3" on a bobber style,I dunno.Maybe OK for full body but not bobber.Anybody got some pics of A 4" to 5" chop on an AD truck they can show?I also got a couple pics on the cast CASE grille I'm gonna use,It's different, think it will turn out though.......

If thats a 6" then 5" should look cool on a bobber with fat tires.I don't want a rake at all, want the stock degree/angle straight up windshield,I think it gives them that 50"s chop look.......thanks SS....

I thought about that...(sectioned)... but it would look like a another sectioned AD truck....I like the CASE grille...I know what it will look like when fabbed/finished.... wanted challenge...something outside the traditional rat rod....I've always had the desire to do things different...take a broad look at the current lay of the land and go in another direction...more of a SHOCK ROD.....or FAT RAT.....thanks bubba....

you're a madman!! looking awesome..I haven't chopped anything yet, but i can't imagine doing the same one twice

Got the new Hoosier's and fronts mocked up.Rear's are 30.5" tall,13" wide, fronts are just BFG'S 10" wide,27.5" tall.Once the bed,gas tank, battery and bed plate/floor is installed it should even out with the front. Not much room between rear tire and frame(2")..not a problem, had to modify bed side panels anyway.Rear fenders? Hmmmmm......still debating on running the big tires on this project or running steelies all around and saving the big tires for future project.Gonna have to mock up the bed to see I guess.......gonna work on the cab/chop today so I can pull internal cab bracing and work on the doors....[;)
