I see a lot of new faces around & lots of visitors. Someone said they found us through a link on another site. Anyone know where that was? Anyway, welcome to RRR!

Very laid back around here. I'm surprised you found a link to here from the H.A.M.B.....I'm shocked....

We are glad to have you around none the less...

Yeah, I saw the thread and shuddered when I saw it, but only a few guys started to say anything about the rat rod thing. What they don't understand is that this forum, while it is primarily interested in rat rodding, tolerates every form of car out there. While I am not a rat rodder per se, I really like the people on here and the tips we pass back and forth.

I have said this before, and I mean it, the HAMB is an excellent forum for size and weath of information.........I lurk there all the time and primarily stay away from posting because it is my Son Dan's private space. He doesn't flit around to several forums like I do, so he needs his privacy there and a place that is all his own. I also see a softening in the tone of the majority of the members there. When someone starts being rude or flaming, other members will say something to them about it and try to answer the question. I think some of the older members see this as a weakening of the old HAMB traditions, but I think people on every forum just want to be respectful of one another, like what we have here.

In any event, I welcome any of you who came over to stay and chat for a while. You will find everyone on here to be some of the nicest guys and gals you have ever met.

Tradition is great but not everyone has to agree. If you want to ask me about putting a flathead in your escort I may not think it is the best plan but will tell you what I know. Not much but I will tell you....
The H.A.M.B. is great, but this place is also and there are more. I like to hear different opions and ideas so I jump around a little bit.

wow! i just spent 30 minutes on the introductions section checking out all the new people. i thought it was never going to end

Same here, I have been trying to read intros, and welcome each person.
If you are new and I missed you, sorry. We have not had this many new guys sign on since the site opened.
Also, normally we have time to actually talk cars, but lately it is a page full of introductions. I am thinking of adding "welcome to the site" in my signature line.

Welcome to the site.

I thought of something else, as I often do. All of this makes me wonder how many guys on the Hamb are either closet rat rodders, or not afraid of rats.:D

I am glad to have you all here, really.

Great points T RAT, we all love cars and may not agree on everything about them but the more on the road in any style is better than another one on the scrap pile.

That is so nice
