Well I just thought I would put a couple of pics up of some very minimal work from last weekend just because it seems a little slow around here tonight. It's hardly worth mentioning but me and my brother finished up installing some jute on the floor and firewall of my coupe. I then dyed it darker than the very light gray that it originally was. I installed some new pedals too. This coming weekend we'll cut some rubber matts to install on top of the jute for an industrial look. I also added some exterior trim detail but it's a secret for now :D.

PEDALS..............................

Hey Gas how thick are those pads on your bomber seats.I have had to add 2 extra layers of foam to mine. They were just too hard on my old bones.I admit they dont look as cool but at least i can ride without braeking my a**LFE

love those seats, did you build them from scratch??

I didn't make the seats. I made the frames for them and the rest of the interior panels though. I did threads about them. If you go to my profile and choose all threads STARTED by me. You can catch up some recent things I've done to the car. Nothing major, just changed it around somewhat.

Bonehead here made some really cool seats for his truck. Check his out too.

LFE - I have different seat pads that I use for real driving. Also have some for the seat backs. More comfy on trips.

Banjoman, there are several companies. The guy that makes the best seats is out of the Denver, Colo. area but they are very expensive. He sells them on ebay. There's also a guy right here on RRR in the classifieds that makes them. I bought mine used on the cheap. After inspecting them and then making my door panels, If I need another pair, I'm just going to make my own.

Here's another place that makes them: http://www.nostalgiaflameworks.com/bomber.htm

Here's some more. Not so much authentic though: http://www.gasalleystreetrods.com/Seats.html

Speedway also sells the same style as above: http://www.speedwaymotors.com/p/4043,223_Bomber-Style-Seat.html

And yet another place: http://havlirhouseoffab.com/havlir_house_of_fab_002.htm

Another one: http://www.centerstaterodzandrides.com/aluminumseats.html

And one more: http://outlawhotrodz.com/products

Okay, one more: http://www.bearmetalkustoms.com/For Sale/For Sale Pages/Bomber Seats/bomberseats.html

Yep Gastrick, you'll be making the trip to Daytona in STYLE bud !!! Looks great.

You've really changed the personality of your coupe in recent months.

Thanks Gas, You have me thinking of a whole new idea on my interior for my truck now.... the wife will love this..haha did you have that in mind the whole time you were building yours or did you just add the interior as an afterthought? because it looks like it was ment to be from the get go..looks bad azz........

Thanks fellas.

Banjoman, I planned the interior that way. It just takes me while to get there because I'm slow. It's not finished yet. I've got some more details to add. Stay tuned.

And his unpaid helper is even slower.:D And don't let him fool you like he's been slacking. A mistake I made cost him almost an entire day this weekend.

here`s an idea for your floor mats , make them out of aluminum with black anti-skid tape layed out in a pattern to match your doors , when I worked on DC8`s the cockpit floor was made like that , here`s a bad drawing
