I'd push the front axle out in front of the frame rail ditch the bags and hope the suicide spring will cover up most of that ugly 2x4 crossmember. or remove the 2x4 and taper the frame rail down to 2.5 and put round tube in there. Just make new bag mounts relocated where you like. just my 2...

listen to DonsRods you can get title and vin plates from swap meets or other members on this forum. I'm not saying it the right way, but sometimes it's the only way. Just look for ur year in the state of florida.

I agree with bob w. I've watched Sams build and would hate to see messed with since I think its badass. What if it doesn't turn out the way he likes it and all that work down the drain. Maybe after a PhotoShop it would grow on me. But till then I vote no. My 2 cents.

O I got lots of plans but they all in my head I'm just tryin to figure out how to get them on paper. And welding? I weld all day everyday at work. just no pics maybe ill sneak a few or wait till I get my 2x4 tubing in cpl weeks.
