this is my build i finally got it running last week for the first time ive had it for about 3 years its been a on and off project as time and money would permit 30 ford body and front axle speedway spindle disc set up homemade frame split bones fourlink suzuki samuria steering box gm column econoline 8.8 rear with 3.55 gears 65 mustang radiator tractor grille shell speedway plastic fuel tank a nasty 351 windsor with a biult aod 32 ford headlights cant wiat to drive it well heres some pics i got newer ones but i took them with the real camera so they saved too big ill get em fixed and post them soon

no they are from speedway a gift from my wife ya gotta love her ! theres a video on u tube search theratrod68,the headers sound amazing

yes i want to chop it was thinkin a mild 4" chop undecided yet i live near detroit i want to take it to the auto rama for rat rods in the basement its pretty big for around here

the seats are a old glider that sat out by our burn pit for years i chpped the center out of it and overlayed the armrests added some steel and whaammo,,instant ratty seat i plan to add cup holders into it and just figured out a old socket set metal box fits up inside the armrest so im gonna put some drawer slides in and make a stash box or hidden compartment

saturday night

went to home depot got some garage door hinges to make the doors stay shut ,mounted some tail lights ive had for a year or so swap meet stuff,and put the mail bowx back on securly this time found some old ford script id tags off a old tractor ive had for awhile and a airplane hoood ornament off my uncles old 50 ford thats rotting out at the farm ,,,

update

been doin a little more here and there between work and side jobs i got the roof panel in and made a temporary windshield out of plywood and plexiglass welded the headerpanels on over the door openings and the visor ,i was hoping to get into the autorama at cobo but its looking like the basement is gonna be full up ,,,have not heard back from them yet but the posts on here and hamb say people are already being told no ,,ill just hope for an early spring

I really dig the seat! I remember rocking on one of these at my mamaws house down in southern Ky when I was a kid.
