Front spindles

I purchased a 1954 Chevy 3/4 ton pick up and would like to put disc brake kit. I have searched and can only find spindles for the 1/2 ton model. Will the 1/2 ton spindles fit? Is there another option?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sure the kingpins are larger on the 3/4 ton axle then the half ton. I wouldn't think it'd be to hard to find a complete half ton axle to use in your truck.
