Used to seal up bare metal like aluminum, copper, etc and keep it from corroding and discoloring. I used it on my aluminum speedster this weekend - really cool stuff.
You wipe it on with a cloth diaper and it dries in about a minute leaving a clear coating, kinda like a satin clear. Its not paint though and can be removed with laquer thinner.
2 tips:
- One coat is enough. First coat went on beautifully, second coat got a little too thick for my taste
- Don't put it on when its 95 deg in the garage. The instructions say you can, but it dries in a flash in that kind of heat
Saw it on some hot rod show, can't remember which, but check it out!
