Fascinated by rolling objects!
Thought the '42 was going to get it's share of attention at a cruise night but then this parked next to me

e-man, is it true that he parked next to you?
Nicest sounding V-dub, ever.
You park in the nicest spots, E-man.
I have seen videos and saw it in the Hot VWs magazine last year. Nice build.

Wow, that's pretty cool. I had a chuckle that the two engines combined are 4,664 cc's, or 284.6 cubic inches. I mean, it's cooler than a 283, but it's a 283
Sno-pro, I have another 283. A Minneapolis-Moline 'U' has a 283 cu. in. four cylinder motor. With its disgusting compression ratio and low revs, it develops about 40 horse-power.
Anybody know what it produces on a Dyno? Would it out-perform a 283? Sno-pros comment "but it's a 283" just left me thinking there is some low balling going on with the 283. The V double is cool. It sounds good. But being a Chevy fan, I bet a mildly tuned and built 283 would stomp a mudhole in it's air-cooled ass...
Guys I wasn't knocking this cool ride, just defending sbc...
