    welding cart

    most that i know of have been home made from box stock. Thats what I do. I once bought a used small weldpac and the guy gave me a regular old tool cart with it, it worked fine, plenty of room for everything but it doesnt hold a bottle.

    Welding clamps

    +1 on the harbor freight butt clamps. but definitely not the cheapo welding vise grips, unless you only plan to use them once or twice before they fall apart.

    holy crap, man!!!

    I just built a garage and it was a grand to put a wire from the street to my shop (abt 25ft) with a meter and an empty breaker box. I advertised on craigslist and ended up trading a liscensed electrician a boat for it.

    yes i do. Ive worked as a fabricator for years with jackson and miller helmets, I burnt my eyes pretty good one day with one of them after tig welding for 8 or 9 hrs straight. I have a cheapo harbor freight helmet in my girlfriends garage for fooling around building choppers and doing body...

    Hey, check out the one Im building for ideas. Its got a yamaha 500cc enduro motor in it, pretty much the same as the honda. Its been an easy build, I would recommend it. It had no lights, but must have a light coil bcuz I found a wire that was putting out 12v, so i hooked lights to it...

    I just posted on the bikes thread a rat bike i'm workin on, as far as a rod, ive got my eye on a 39 international, but im wide open to anything, the older the better! Ive got a 53 dodge truck now thats pretty fast. maybee I can sell or trade something off for a new rod project. -chris

    Thanks Bob. The oil tank is made from a fire extinguisher, the spotlight is off my old flatbed, old 3wheeler gas tank, and the seat is cut from my old dodge fender.

    Getting it going got the seat an fender on. I plumbed it and got it all going. Now it runs and drives, I just need to get a tail light/plate mount and fab the rear brake pedal/linkage. stay tuned...

    Hi, ive been piecing this together, its a 1953 bsa goldstar plunger frame, fork, wheels, I took the motor from a 70's yamaha 500. The rest of the parts were kicking around the garage. Ive been piecing it together in between projects.
