HEYYYY Smallfoot. I have a 2 pound coffee can full of rust particles I've swept up off the floor! I wonder if you would make me one of those too? Seriously, I wouldn't have given 10 cents for that junk you brought home, but now???? I'd give you a little more!!!!!!!
Best Regards, Perley
Very inventive fabbing! And I wish I had your welding skills. I barely make it with an Arc Welder. Even MIG is too much for me, at least on sheet metal. You are doing great. Makes me green----------
I know zip about 4x4's and rock crawlers, but hey, you got some really serious fab skills. WOW. I've enjoyed this thread. Thanks for taking the time to film and detail your work. ENJOY. Perley
Well, I guess I am in the minority, BUT, if it were me, I would cut down the body to make it look coupish, like those pics! But what do I know, and, it is YOUR car. Do what you want with it. Perley
You didn't say, but I'd guess this isn't your first time out of the hall. LOL. Like the copper work, I'm a retired plumber myself. Used to love copper work. Plastic now turns me off big time. UGH Great job on the truck. Like the History too. Perley
Hi Torchie. I've been a few days reading and watching pics of your build, and I give you lots of credit for your craftsmanship and engineering skills. And with a handicap to boot. My hat's off to you. Keep at it and one day this will be what hot rodders are looking back at and saying "back...
Gall darned, no fair! You could put detroit out of business, AND cause all us poor laymen to give up tinkering with old cars! Uhhhhh, how I wish I had your vision and enthusiasim AND skills! perleyu
Hey guyz. Was it your idea to lean the A pillars like you did? I wonder if it would have looked better if the roof had been cut and an extension piece welded in, thus leaving the A pillars as they were? Just curious.
Man, you're taking fabrication to new limits---------
Excellent work, excellent detail, excellent work ethic. And yeah, I'll give you some of my laziness toooooo! NICE
This was one incredible build and story Bob. So glad for you to have had a friend that colorful. That Dodge is out-of-sight. BTW, sounds like you have waayyyyy too many toys. I'll come and relieve you of one/some if you want more room.
WELL, when I win the Powerball, guess where I'm heading! Gonna have this guy build me a whole car from Scratch----------
Marvelous work. I believe you could make me a new door for my Essex to replace the one I don't have!
