29 fordor build Lots of welding and grinding, but frame is ready for axles.

29 fordor build This is the start of my build posts. I'm a newbie so tell me what i'm doing wrong. Started frame. Lots of work cutting holes, welding and grinding front piece in frame. Taking weekend off. Finish frame next week and start looking for rear end and 350 power plant.

Anybody know make and year of this light?

Body is off.* Gas tank is out.

Steel for frame comes in tomorrow.* Going to brace body for four inch chop.

Serial number on frame says it was built in Sept 1929, but I think cowl panel is 30-31. What about rest of body? Not that it matters much. I'd just like to know.

Body is cut loose.* I have a crane and forklift, but body seems flimsy.Any suggestions?

Picked up the car yesterday. Fifteen hour road trip with my buddy Wayne. Car is solid. Only surface rust. Came with probably 1,000 parts. Many new in original packaging. I'm figuring 50 to 60 cases of beer and I'll have it on the road. Bruce
