    Installing My Dual Carb Intake

Is that copper line? I don't know why I thought you shouldn't use it in fuel systems. Am I wrong? If so, the remaining pieces fo the puzzle to get this think running and on the street should go pretty fast.

    Installing My Dual Carb Intake

All the linkage came from Langdon Stovebolt. It does function pretty well, although I've got to make some minor adjustments.

    Installing My Dual Carb Intake

Here are some more pics of the linkage. I think it is about completely mocked up. I had to fab up some brakets to accept the tie rod ends, and all that remains is to shorten the rods that will connect from the linkage arms to the accelerator control linkage on the carbs. I kinda like the way...

    Installing My Dual Carb Intake

They are Carter/Weber Carbs which I picked up brand new from Langdon Stovebolt. I also picked up the adapters and the air cleaners and filters from Langdon. Anyone running a straight six with a homebuilt manifold? I'd like to get some ideas for the linkage. I'm trying to keep it as clean as...

    Installing My Dual Carb Intake

Started intalling my dual carb intake the other day. It was made by a guy named Moose who may be a member here but I know is on the HAMB. I had to widen out some of the bolt holes but otherwise I'm happy with how it came out. In the process of installing the manifold I ended up making a...

    Swap Meets near Nashville, TN

I hit up a swap meet this past weekend at the fairgrounds in Nashville TN. Bunch of decently priced stuff if you're in need of old ford or chevy parts. Too bad it's only here once a year. Anyone know of swap meets within a couple of hours drive of Nashville, Tn. I had a good time just...

    Just Saying Hi.

I'll throw some up when I can get it uncovered and roll it out of the garage. I've been doing mostly engine and front end suspension work, and needless to say I've got some junk in the trunk... and on the trunk.... and on the roof.... and in the passenger's seat. You get the idea. :D I'm...

    Just Saying Hi.

Mine ain't pretty enough to post pics of yet. That's why i said it'll scare small children but here are some pics of what I'm using for inspiration. Not exactly a rat but definitely a cool traditional rod. Mine will probably be a little more edgy than this one.

    Just Saying Hi.

Wassup everyone, I've got a 1940 Plymouth that I'm in the process of getting right. I'm running the stock flathead six with a custom dual carb intake, which should be here any day now. Getting real close to the inaugural run around the block and scare small children and old people. :D Just...
