    I hate harmonic balancers

    I hate harmonic balancers

I give up pulling it. I'm going to cut the spokes off the cut a slot along the keyway so I'm less likely to damage the crank.

    I hate harmonic balancers

I am replacing the balancer because it sticks out to far for the application I'm using it in. I already have a replacement so I don't care about reusing the balancer. I already slightly damaged the threads on the crank but nothing I can't fix by chasing it with a tap. EDIT: and yes the washer...

    I hate harmonic balancers

I'm trying to remove balancer from a sb chevy, it appears that the washer that holds the balancer is stuck making it impossible to use the puller I have to remove the balancer. Does anyone have any tricks to solve this problem?

    willy's body?

No luck, that deal is long gone. I have a rear end and wheels, but I am looking for a truck cab and frame to start my rat project. The engine I plan to use has never been used on a ratrod as far as I know.

Yep another Ford F1 build aka: SNUB-NOSE

I don't think you'll need the kicker pump. My pontiac fieros do just fine without them here in Tx, but My V8 fiero isn't to a point where I can see how well this v8 will handle heat, long coolant hoses and a radiator desighned for a v6.

Yep another Ford F1 build aka: SNUB-NOSE

I like the tanks, but I don't like how far back the radiator is mounted. I would also do away completely with the grill in the front, it just looks to small and its just a decoration. But its not my truck, keep building it the way you want it, it looks awesome. Those wheels look alot like the...

Thanks, it apears to be a 1930 coupe. I'm not able to take pictures of it right now, I might be able to go by and snap a few but I might just wait till I pick it up.

    willy's body?

I've found a unfinished project that I will be buying shortly but I can't identify the body. The seller claims its a 30's willy's body, but I can't find anything that looks like it in image searches. Anyone know of any web sits that I might be able to find the pictures I'm looking for?

    The new Elky!

If gm puts a 5.3l with DOD then after they are a few years old we will be buying them to replace our current pool cleaning vehicles.

    I have a Dream...

The chrome is in pretty good shape, but holes have developed in the bottom in a few places somehow. I'll probably weld them up and have them chromed and or get some after market and store the originals.

    Fiero Guy

Although I do have a 87 fiero gt thats being parted out right now, I'm thinking it would be more fun to modify the vette frame. the front suspension would look great after powder coating(the previous owner of the vette before it burned must hace gas a ronold mc donald fetish because he painted...

That sounds great, I'd love to see them. If I could find some inexpensive tubular arms for the fiero I'd be tempted to use them exposed but the c4 vette suspension is just sitting there begging to be used.

I've seen luckyfasteddies truck, its part of the reason I'm here. I love the way it looks and would probably want to do a ford tudor mid engine ratrod but I need a truck.

    I have a Dream...

Sorry for the terrible photo, it was taken with my cell in our dimly lit storage building. This bike was restored about 6 years ago and has been stored ever since. This bike could use a rebuild, new seat cover and mufflers and it would be perfect.

Thats right, I've been into fieros since I could drive. I'd love to build a mid engine ratrod but that would defeat the purpose of my next project. I have a need for a truck, I'm not desperate but it would be a nice thing to have, but my knowledge of the older trucks I'm looking for isn't vary...
