    Like Youngster said,,, if it balls up, to avoid contaminating your grinder wheel, you really should cut off the ball first anyway. As for welding with a cracked cap, if you are so cheap you cant buy a new cap if you break yours,,, might want to think about taking up another hobby.:cool:

    pot steering???

    66 Mustang radiators fit under T/A shells and are only about $150 new in the 3 row version. They also make a 4 row.

    how do I replicate this body line?

    I'm with DMW on this. Spent a short time on the lathe making some application specific dies then you can bead roll that exact line all day long including over the radius or however you decide to roll them.

    No thanks, I actually BUILD them. All I was asking was if you bought a piece of crap frame from him on Ebay, then why not leave a negative to warn other rodders that they aren't any good so they don't waste their time/money buying one??????????     If you bought it on Ebay like you said, then why does he still have a 100% posative sellers rating? :confused: Would seem to me if I bought an $800 turd, at a MINIMUM, he would have a negative from me.

    spindle problem

    Cold chisel running lengthways with a support on the otherside will split them in two and they come right off. Yes, those are typically bearing spacers for converting to disk brakes. If you are trying to save the adaptors "sometimes" a gear puller works. Run a torch across them to heat them up...

    But to answer your question, no it won't matter, the u-joints don't care if it is up and down or side to side as long as the planes are perpendicular and/or parralel.
