Headers!

Well... got the dropped straight axle in & headers extended to clear the frame. Rear end under there now too! Radiator & gas tank next.

What a tire and wheel combo. Good choices!

Bonehead,
Thanks, I wanted that old time look but I have to say... the new fresh chrome rear wheels wer a little too bright for my tastes. Porbabaly shoulda found some old scruffy ones on daBay!!!

I can't believe how fast this one is moving along. I wanna see it with the wheels and tires on it.

Gastrick,
Me too!!! Probably get them on today & post! It's really comin' together now. Had a hard time findin' a new gas tank for it so took the orig one & have it redone yesterday. Really wanted one with internal pump but that ain't gonna happen!

Progress!!!

Ok... got the wheels on & fitting the front end on again. This is a 4" dropped front axle so it's not really pointed too far north as I'm gonna be drivin' this sucker a lot!!! Every thing has just fit like a glove so far & the slicks fit in the rear fenders perfectly & stick out 3"-4"... I love it!!! I was also able to use the orig steering wheel, column & steering box & it works perfectly! Watch out H-town... Tripper's gasser's comin' to tear the streets up!!! :D

Damn Tripper. How fast did you do this? 8 Weeks?

You got me thinking about an LS1 now dude.

YB,
I have a reason for a quick build on this & will reveal it shortly. Let's just say it's for advertising (a good way to get a car on the streets)! :D Can't wait to see how she runs! Have a friend who's a whiz on LS motors & depending on how fast it is... got a few more tricks in da bag!

Okay, home run. that's really cool.

Gastrick,
Thanks... it was u're advice that cinched it for me! Thanks again!
