well after doing some measuring im gonna have to relocate the rear end 16 inches back. the cab actually sits 7 inches back from stock so in order to use the short bed box it will have to go back 16 inches. front fenders will be lengthened 6 inches and i can handle the tires sitting a inch forward in the fenders shouldnt be to noticeable. i am gonna make a fiberglass hood with a 7 inch tall scoop so that the tunnel ram is not sticking threw the hood. this thing will be pro street all the way. they where running at the drag strip today down the road from my house all i could think was real soon hopefully real soon. oh ya i also cracked the passenger side bottom corner of the wind shield so i really thinking im gonna chop the damn top now. i was kinda staying away from the chop top just because the windshield and back windows where perfect. now im so damn mad at my self was thinking the whole time that i should have pulled the windows. that what happens when i dont listen to the little voices in my head lol.

ya thought about a whole fiberglass front end but funds are super tight now. my new used truck just started knocking as i was pulling the wifes travel trailer home this mourning. so now i have to buy a engine for the pick up and put it in next weekend. gonna have to make do with what i have for a while. i have stretched hoods and fenders before it will still look good and since im not going to use the stock hood it shouldnt be too bad. i wanna thank you guys for the advice thats been givin to me and the comments all are welcomed and appreciated. hey rev i really like your truck had a 55 wish i had it back now.

got a little done today

got a little done today cut 4 inches of the cab all the way around. welded up some frame mounts to mount the cab on the chassis. did some more measuring to figure out how much to add to the length of the fenders. still have not decided on chopping the top or not.

thanks sam fear i just cant do the rear end that close to the cab it just bothers me to much. i am still leaning real hard towards chopping the top. guess i will get everything else done bed, fenders and hood then make up my mind on the chop.

heres a idea what it will look like with the rear end relocated back. front fenders still need to be lengthened but it gives you the general idea.

Just thought it would be neat and kind of funny. Kind of like those little penny popper cars they used to make for kids...... Wind it up and stand a wheelie all day...... Would be interesting......

finally figured out the photo shop thing and i photo shoped a couple pics of the truck. i think i am going to move the front suspension back towards the cab. i think it looks betretching the better then stretching the fenders.
