60 Comet roadster

decided to start a thread on my Comet roadster started by gutting it then cut the front off at fire wall

Cut off roof and removed doors

Cut 21" out of doors

Cut 21" out of floor and tack welded back together then welded doors up and tacked to body

This part was fun cut 17" out of rear and 15" out of front it took a lot of measuring and some guess work but it worked out

being old and a little wider than l used to be, 2 of us wound't fit in her, heck 2 of my size barley fit in my 3OlSH rod.

Here is the frame I started on i got the rear mounted finished welding all the brackets today first time for me using air bags on the rear iI also turned the body upside down and cut all the floor out. Got a Speedway roadster front end for it. and I have a V 12 Jag engine and 350 turbo trans for it. I have removed all the electronic fuel injection from it used the original intakes and machined them and welded up boxes for carbs using 2 450 cfm holleys I will get some pictures fo the set up soon
