chevrolet 350 crank

can anyone tell me what the distance is from the back of the block to the face of the crank ?(where the flywheel mounts)

I looked at one today sitting on an engine stand. My best measurement was about half an inch. That was on a newer 350 with a one piece rear seal. Should be the same on older engines since they are swapable. Good luck.

Yep, about 1/2 to 9/16ths on Mine too..

Looks like the V8's and V6's are about the same.... happy motoring....
