It happens on a regular basis and is always 'anarchy' when in truth it's just a bloody excuse to loot and act like a bunch of mindless dicks..If they got jobs they would be too tired to riot.
My wife was a bout 3 miles away from it yesterday and as usual most people didn't even know it was going on.
This time it's blamed on the police shooting of an 'innocent' man in a well planned raid,before it's been taxes,funding cuts and many other excuses.

No different than "I'm going to show what a proud supporter and fan of my Football team(Hockey too) I am by looting,setting fire to Police cars in my home town and generally being a complete moron' crowd.
Unfortunately where ever you live,hail from or get sent to there are idiots who need any excuse to prove just how stupid they are.

I'm going to get my point across by destroying my own neighborhood.
Yeah, isn't that just NUTS ??????? We had the same thing in 1968 when the blacks rioted in Pittsburgh and burned and looted a lot of the Hill District, right where their homes were ! When it was over neighborhood stores that had served these people for years were gone or cleaned out, as were most of their own homes.
People are just nuts sometimes !

Same thing with the LA Riots. Let's burn down our neighbor's store, burn our cousin's car and steal 11 pairs of pink sneakers from the discount store.
And when it's all said and done, you have a neighborhood that's ruined, no place to buy food and 11 pairs of pink sneakers that aren't worth anything.
The shop owners you burned out aren't going to return to serve your community either. Good job.

During the Rodney King riots, Hawthorne P.D. asked for assistance because they were looting the mall. When we arrived, our Sgt said, "Looting's a shooting offense. Shoot anyone you see!". Yahoo! We went charging in there and everyone ran out of the back. End of riot for Hawthorne.
A college up north asked for assistance for a riot at their school. Apparently the students would throw rocks and bottles at the police. When the police charged in, the would run back into the buildings and lock the doors. When we showed up, the students would throw rocks and bottles then run back into the buildings. We chased them, broke the doors down and threw them out of second story windows. The never rioted after that.

They should send in the military, snatch rioters into the back of a van one by one, take a photo, beat the holy snot out them, and tell them that if they see or hear from them again they'll have a serious accident.

If the UK police carried guns, I think this riot would have been over alot faster. Most only carry batons and those plastic shields. If I were a young hooligan, I wouldn't be scared of them either.

Some complaining about living conditions so to make things better they burn all the local stores down...morons.
In one incident a gang of about 100 (to be PC I shall say 'African descent') descended on a mostly 'Turkish' area and started rioting and looting but the Turks got together with baseball bats,knives and even swords and chased the gang away...whooo hooo should have taken a few heads first.
Some complaining about living conditions so to make things better they burn all the local stores down...morons.

Maybe this isn't PC, but I feel when a person elects to pick up a gun and rob someplace, or to start tossing rocks and looting, they give up ALL rights. Then they are fair game. We are just to civilized sometimes.
