Aeromotive Hose Ends

Is there a trick to these things? S/S Braided PTFE Watched the video a half dozen times.... square cut, push the Ferrell on all the way & tighten it up.
Seems so stupid that you leave the braid covering the Ferrel
I did an air test and have so many leaks....
I ordered some new Ferrells and will try again...

I redid the leakers today. I used the soft jaws made for assembling these in the vice. The leakers were ones I did on the floor or against the frame at the truck. Seems that jaws / vice it made the difference. All tight at 100 psi.
