FMX ID???

Can someone confirm that this is indeed a Ford FMX trans? I googled it on the net and am seeing different pan gasket configurations so i dont trust the info I found else where.

To start do you know what yaer the trans is?

The FMX is part of the Cruise-O-Matic trans. family

There three styles:

Small case From 51-66
Medium Case from 55-68
FMX & FX 67-79

One way to find what you have is to measure the length of the cast iron body.

The FX is 9 3/8"
The MX is 10 1/2"
the HX from 58-61 is 10 7/8"
the HX 61 is 11 5/8 "

Also I attach a picture of the ford pan gaskets.

Its out of a 1969 Galaxie. I was told it was original but didnt confirm.
I will measure the cast iron body when I get home.
