made the deal a while back, but completed the transaction yesterday...

traded off a big old desoto hemi for this pile of rusty 1946-47 ford truck parts...

still rounding up parts for this build, so
a build thread will begin for "rusty tow" only when the building part actually begins...;)[;)

the designer for this build is my 9 year old son, whose main requirement was dual wheels on the rear.... so, duals it shall have:D[cl

Awww, look how sad that little Hemi is, being chained like a dog to the trailer and being carted off to lord how knows where :(
On the other hand the truck looks like a good build comin on [cl [P

Like I always say... "If u drive around with an empty trailer... something good will jump up on there sooner or later"!!! Congrats!!!

BoB

looks good, about time you got your hands dirty again!.. I was disappointed when you sold off the other one!

what kinda crazy people put duels out back..

Good deal HRP....

maybe I should do the driving around with the trailer empty thing again...lol..didn't work the last time[S :(

nice tin! clean and not full of holes like up here. I'm Waiting.........:D[;)

just found a 36-38 ford wide-five front axle and original wishbone! traded for it, but did not get to bring it home yet...also have 2 possible rear axles- a 9" ford truck if we go with "single rear wheels" and a ford 3/4 or 1 ton if we use 8 lug dual rear whels...

more to come ltr...
