"New" shooting stick

I traded for a 22 Hornet yesterday. It is an early 50s Savage model 342 with a 70s vintage Tasco scope. Nice clean old gun, traded 2 wolf traps for it. Now I have to get to town and get some ammo so I can shoot it.

congrats. i got a old rem. 30-06 that my grandfather gave me before he passed, it has never had a bullet chambered and still has the green and white sales tag on the trigger guard. it will come out this deer season so i can hunt this year. i have had the rifle for about 18 years, got a leupold scoop with it.
