Here's mine:
Layla, or Lu Lu, she was given to us by a friend of ours because she was so hyper and destructive {still is!}. We were told she was a "ladies dog", because she wouldn't have anything to do with men. When the wife brought her home and set her down on the floor, she ran straight into the bedroom to where I was sitting at the computer and jumped into my lap! Ladies dog my hind leg! From then on, she has been my dog. She rode in the truck with me for two years until I started doing short hauls all the time.
Here's Sassy, another Boston Terrier. Wife bought here when she was 8 weeks old. She's about a year older than Layla, but has just as much energy. She shares time with me and wife depending on how she feels that day.
Here's Rip, a rat terrier, also known as "the old woman". Give to the wife by a friend of ours who had bought her for his daughter, then she moved out and left her with him. She is about 11 years old, but still as spry as she was when she was a year old. She keeps the Boston's straight!
Then there is Lil' Bit, a rat terrier mix, that was given to the wife by our late son to replace a Boston that we had to have put to sleep. She is camera shy, hard to get a pic of, I'll have to look harder and see if I can find one of her. She is the watchdog, nothing moves in the yard that she doesn't know about and sound the alarm, which gets the other girls going!
