I currently have no garage and building my ride has been real slow. Everytime I want to work on it, I get all my tools out from the basement, set everything up, make cuts, fit panels, tack weld and BAM... RAIN! I was thinking about a car port or a portable garage to keep the rain off my head...

I'll give you credit for your creativity and dedication. That is a nice setup. I'm still glad I got to use my pipe bender for more than just pipe, it made my investment that much more satisfying. I think I have $100 into the bender. :D

I used my harbor freight pipe bender... worked perfect and I didn't have to make anything. :D

I took a 3 hour drive to New York this weekend and picked up this 1975 xs650 for $200. It's been sitting in a barn for 10 years and needs some work because of all the moisture, but it's complete and I have a title.

Yours might be a rat rod if: your gas tank doubles as your seat your exhaust used to support a chain link fence you were able to weld the doors shut because it was easier to climb in through the roof than get in through the door
