I saw one on a late 80's Mercury Cougar XR-7 yesterday and it might have been the most god awful looking thing I have ever seen.

We had a Pacer, new, back in the mid-70's. We used to drive 11 hours to Maine in that baby, and I would be tanning in the back of that thing. No AC. Pretty much a piece of junk.

I took about 100 photos. I'll work on re-sizing them and then try to post them. Did anyone else see the sweet '49 Plymouth for sale? Unfortunately, I don't have enough saved yet....that would have been going home with me.

In '75 I had a killer VW Beetle, pedal powered, fire engine red. Probably cost my Dad way too much for the time. I wonder what happened to that thing. Don: a former Boss of mine sold an original Shelby Cobra in the early 80s before the prices went nuts. He's probably still beating himself up...

About 10 years ago some friends and I stopped along the Miss. river (Cape Girardeau MO, I think), and were looking at post flooding damage to historic buildings. we came across a guy with at least 150 prime pieces of history parked in his lot. Amazing stuff.
