Using a power steering box as a manual box?

Thanks for the response. That's the answer I was looking for. I thought that the two boxes were the same (besides the ratio) but I wasn't 100% sure. Thanks again.

Using a power steering box as a manual box?

It may be a stupid question so I apologize if it is, but is it possible to take a 67 mustang POWER steering box and run it without the pump and just use it as a manual box? I've been looking around and they seem to be cheaper and easier to find than the manual box for some reason. Any help would...

Houston... we've got a problem! My dilemma!

I would vote back of the cab.. and i like the basket idea too. or if you could fit it on the dash that would be cool. and would probably cause some controversy :D

    The 40G

Very cool build! Like the idea for the Tonneau cover. That should look cool. It would be cool to use some hood hinges from an old truck. That way the hinges are hidden under the tanneau cover and are spring loaded so it stays up without having to hold it or have a rod to hold it up. Just a...

Nice car. You may want to check out my build thread to see how I did my top. I made a button on top and put lots of pictures showing how I did it. Just a thought if you wanted to go that route.

also, i hope you aren't over paying for the truck since it doesn't come with a title. Thats a good bargaining point.

That's awesome! and you can't really put a price on those. If you need it, you need it. 300 is less than I paid for mine. It's cheaper and easier than going the other route.

its a risk you would have to take. Not sure if it's punishable or not. You could always just say that its the title the guy gave you when you bought the vehicle. Over here in texas they have never checked anything on my vehicles. Just put it in the computer and sent me a title. Only thing is you...

welcome welcome to RRR. cheapest way to get a title would be too find a title being sold online somewhere that matches the year make and model of your car. People sell them as "collector items". I would try to get your title situation worked out before you begin to put alot of money and work...

1946 Ford Pickup aka "The Herford

Badass This truck is badass! My first car was an 81 Datsun 280zx that I bought for $1300 bucks. Slapped a paint job on and spent a year dropping an LT1 into. (took me a year cause at the time I didn't know crap about engines. so I had to have my father's help). But that car was badass. Now...

Thanks man! The shifter keeps my leg from hitting the pipes. I rode it down the street a few times. The exhaust doesn't cause any problems for me being right there. I also plan on wrapping the exhaust in heat wrap.
