Just tried to watch the latest Pinks episode, I lasted about 10 minuets before I had to delete it from my TiVo...
The show has gone from a grass roots racing event to the usual high end TV production extravaganza with all the trick camera work, editing, a crap load of "up close and...
I rarely watch this show because of the idiot host, he knows NOTHING about things with wheels on them.
I'm trying to watch today's show only because its about Rockabilly's, rat rods and alike, some good stuff but its hard to stay tuned because of this A-hole.
I bought this truck last year from the daughter of the owner (Ron Burnside) and she thinks he did not build it so she was not much help[S, its a older build, maybe 20 years or so.

Dose anyone use rubber hose cooler lines on transmissions?
I need to replace the hard lines the butcher installed on the hot rod I bought a few months back and really don't want to spend $5.00 a foot for braided steel lines.
Northern Tool is selling their Northern Industrial mig welder model # Mig-135, 22-135 amp, 115 volt, flux core for $349.99. Inlcudes free shipping and a $80.00 welding stand.
Anyone know who makes this welder?

My friend just bought a car wash here in Gardnerville Nv.
He has a crew gutting it and installing all new equipment making it a "touchless" car wash.
He called me to ask if I would like to have the compressor, a Husky-Pro, 60 gal, 2-cylinder upright which looks brand new, the oil is clean as...
Anybody used Bar's Leak Head Gasket Fix?
My friend buys for resale cheap cars with problems, hence the word CHEAP and has used twice a product for repairing internal cooling system leaks including cracks in aluminum heads like on Soobooroos, the stuff works but costs around 50 bucks.
I've seen a couple of car shows where they used a light colored paste on exhaust and tail pipes where they slid into the muffler before the clamps were installed.
What is this paste and where do I get it?
Guna mount dummy spots on my 50 Study pickup but no way to get inside the A-pillar to install a nut-plate to reinforce the sheet metal sos I decided to search for a nutsert tool and a assortment of nutserts.
Found what I wanted at Harbor Freight... #94100-4 VGA

Just bought this truck, has a Chevy 350 with a 350 trans.
Dip stick is a little to long for the tube (wrong stick, wrong tube?) I cut a inch off the stick so the rubber plug would seal and still can read fluid level.
