if you are talking about the half weathered paint half rust look i found out that a can of rusto and some cheap brushes do a great job of patchy and terrible paint. once dried take anything that ruines paint such as steel wool wire brushes and such... i find that sand paper doesnt really give...

been tearing at it daily for the past week got it almost down to the frame.
that crazy rebar is a pain in the butt to remove.
since this picture was taken i got the "bumper" off and all the wiring and hoses as well. all the glass is out except the front windshield.
cool i finally got to taking the truck apart i will have pic tomorrow and finally an update on my build thread. hopefully i can get the suspension and bed off today.

my girlfriends grandpa rebuilt an engine out of one of his business vans 15 years ago. his business since has been closed and he is retired. the engine is just chilling in his garage where it has been for the past 15 years. its mine now but i dont know how...
in my opinion rats are bare essentials... but what we have is still essential! just cause the body is rotting, dented, rusty, shot at, broken windows, half painted, etc... doesnt mean the running gear, brakes and frame need to be.
