    1955 Ranch Wagon Cruiser

I'd guess the rust is about the same. The original engine was stuck and has already been pulled out. A friend of mine has a 1990 f150, 302 aod, and has been trying to get me to use it and keep the fuel injection but undecided so far.

Very nice work. I have had an increased interest in wagons for a couple of years and just last month bought a 1956 2 door Ranch Wagon.

    Cost of steel.

There is a big machine shop 2 blocks from work, they have awesome buying power - semi loads of iron in and out of the building. Last fall I bought 4 pieces of 2x4 3/16 27 foot long for a $100.00 a stick and they have piles of drop steel they said they would sell out of for scrap price.

    Best heat resistant paint

Don't know about the headers but you can paint everything else with a enamel paint, it holds up great and will take the heat on the engine.

    would this work?!

I'm not a body shop by no means, but did this car for a friend with a $40.00 paint gun from NAPA and I think it turned out okay.

    Graham build

Congrats BillM, awesome build[cl[cl Your overall design is great, I'm using an Econoline front axle and would like to run it under the frame as well...your design is the cleanest I've seen yet. Also a great story line with the car being in the family and all.

    My own Model A project....

Thank you Don. That has answered a lot of questions, people kept saying the cowls are extended and in your pictures I see...I also thought I had another '30-'31 cowl because of the 2 body lines, instead of 1 bigger body line.
