mines runnin a 4-holer 1 inch spacer and seems to like it with an edelbrock 600 cfm. it sounds to me like its not air/fuel related. its back to basics time it sounds like. got air? got fuel? got spark? my guess would say its a spark issue and 1st thing that springs to mind is the distributor...

thats kinda cool lookin. i have the exact same setup, mounts n lights on my T and it never even crossed my mind to try em mounted inboard like that. then again, i woulda never got shocks to fit that way...

i dunno man. i knew a guy years ago had a nice 29 R.P.U with a 413 max wedge motor and those LOOOOONG factory crossrams that put each carb over the other sides valve cover and it looked KILLER. for streetable on a SBC though, i think i'd go 6 pack.

craftsman stuff is GARBAGE now. they tried that 2nd hand replacement crap on me, i simply took it, shoved a sparkplug socket on it, broke it barehanded and grabbed a new one. not real helpful since the "new" 1 worked about 10 minutes before it grenaded too... its a shame when i reach PAST my...

take it to a radiator shop. they'll hot tank it for you, it's not real expensive but it does work very well...

seems like theres a guy on the h.a.m.b. who sells disc kits... you decide to go that route and i'd be interested in your old spindles and drum brake setup. ;)

mine stops just fine with manual drums.... besides, i don't much care for the look of disc brakes on an open fendered car. :)

if ya want COOL mopar based axles, look into the mid 30s "super wavy tube" axles. you can retro later (50s/early 60s) brakes onto em pretty easy and they're CHEAP! cuz nobody uses em. :)
