Skull thats the great thing about this forum, Sometimes it is the little things at turn into big ideas. I do like the idea of the plexiglass and would of never thought of that but I will keep that in mind. That idea would look bitchin on a black sedan with smoked plexi, you would have a hard time seeing the tail lights.

your'e welcome ---l expect a check in the mail in the next few days[ddd

if l was closer, l'd have ya "experiment" on the 30ISH sedan thing of mine to see how it looks.

later

I think you have done a fantastic job on the doing. I kinda like the tail lights. I also like the plexiglass idea. I need to figure out what to do on my 47 truck ford cab that im doing. I chopped 7" and sectioned 5" out of body. So I don't really know what will look good for lights.

More great work GJunctionMike.
One of the first Chef's I ever worked for once told me. " The customer isn't always right. But they are always the customer"

Keep going!
Torchie.

Thanks Bob.

More tubing and grinding. Passenger side is almost in the bag. It is looking more like a car and getting close to holding shape on it own.

Thanks guys.

ZZRat If you make it out this way give me a heads up and I'll shot you my info.

zzrodder that is still up in the air right now. Me and the owner are kicking around a couple ideas. Vinyl snap top is out of the question, just to big of a hole and the slapping noise drive the highway would be killer. But looking into maybe a removable hard top panel wrapped in vinyl to look like a snap top. Or one of those new fangled retractable roofs.

ZZtop just a cool band. just feel the need to keep the ZZ thing going.

Finally got in a couple of days. Didn't like the way the old bottom window channel was just to shallow for a glue in windshield. So I went to cutting. Redone the channel with 1" cut down and add one below to have something to mount the dash to. Finished up the upper tubing along the driver side.
