Your work makes me really take a second look at some of the field cars around here. What I used to think was to far gone. Now has potential.

Nice work mike.

Thank's guys

ZZ your not kidding on the doors. By the time I'm done with the two doors, I will have more time in them then the rest of the car.

Gold I hear you there. The couple cars I posted a couple pages back, I passed on because at that time I didn't think I could ever build them and they were to far past my skills.

I'm use to filling in window channels not making them. Made a removable upper panel for the door, still need to do some trimming but it serves it purpose.

A mock up with a drag slick :D

Thank's guys

Door work Is not my favorite part either.

Full metal door top. The door is looking more like a real door and is about as heavy as one now.

One done door.

and heavier......lol

Kidding....that metal work is fantastic....can't say enough...you are a craftsman for sure.....:D

Really nice, Mike. With a few more metal shaping tools you could be building bodies from scratch,

The fit...

Mike, I used to appraise street rods, customs, antiques, and specialty cars for insurance companies. I did it for about 10 years as a side job/hobby. There is one thing that tells me how good a car is. That is the fit of doors and body panels. Believe me, my friend, I've never seen better looking fit and finish. That sedan will be awesome when you're done.[cl[cl[cl

Thank's guy's you all are way to kind.

Got the dash mounts in. Defrost hole filled, nice spot for a dash mount mirror now. Lower part of the dash where the steering column mounts was tore off, got that fixed up.

Thanks Mac and Eman

I think my tranny is stuck in first, just can't get up to speed the last couple days.

But I did finish the back window and the backing for the removable corner panels.

Sometimes a break is in order, and you been working hard at that for a bit!
Its looking great, so take a break and go fishing or something =)

DR I'm a man on a mission, misguided as it is.

Savage a couple hinges, still needs bushings and adjustment but it is a swinging door. Still trying to track down a lower post hinge for the driver side, so if someone has one to spare let me know.

Had to post one pic for fun, not every square inch of this car was rusted :D
