Great work as usual GJM.
I have always been partial to the ribbed station wagon roofs used as a filler piece.
But that may not fit into your build style if you are looking for something that will open.
Torchie.

Thanks for the kind words guys (and gals) I have alot of hours in and alot more to go. Torchie thats what I was thinking to but for now the hole is still in the works

Skull there is a good look at what I see looking out the window and a couple seat mock up pics to show how the seat is setting. first pic is sitting up last pic i ducked a couple inches.

Very nice, GJ, very nice. I'm glad to see you mocking up the captains chair once in a while in mid build. You catch the line of sight problems when they can be solved. The measurement that caught me with my pants down was from the top of the peddles to the underside of the steering wheel. I never realized that my legs are ridiculously long. Now, I may have to shorten them surgically, ------- or think up something else.
Keep on tinkering.

Thank's Mac, I have those moments to I just try to limit them.

Holy frame fabrication nightmare. Well I'm doing the frame and here is what I'm working with. 4" tube frame that will hang below the body 1" so when the bags are down the frame will hit the ground. So everything has to be above the bottom of the frame. Throw in 33" tall tires, 4 link, a fuel cell, 12" tall tunnel and still have back seat. Holy $(*%^)&^, But I have a plan, going way out of the box on this one.

Sounds like fun... I know what u are saying accept the rear seat issues, I got 32" up front and 35" out back! It's amazing how quickly space disappears...

I am 100% confident u can sort it out!

Frame sneak peek

Odd at best, but it will make more sense as it progresses.

I'll be watching You Tube at home after midnight....my wife will think I'm watching P...! LOL

Sarge the videos are rated R (R for red neck :D).

Got on a door today, bottom was rotted out. Also extended the bottom of the door to close up the gap to the rocker. Trimmed up the upper door piece, propped it up for a pic.

Some window treatment. Was going to go back with the original window trim but found out there was only one that came with the car. Probably end up with some flat stock alum or brass for the window trim.

I have all 4 window trims that I won't be using if you want them.

Thanks for the offer but the owner has and idea of what he is going to do to finish them out.

Gold and Lynn, glad you like the video's hope they come in useful for someone or promote someone to throw their car on a pallet with loads of cash :D and send it to me.

Did some easy stuff today. finish up the other window and capped 3 of the roof corners.
