'53 Dodge

I picked a '53 1 ton today. Seized engine, nine foot box and broken windshield. The rear fenders are pretty hurtin, the door bottoms eaten away, and dented fenders. But the cabs ok. I'm hoping I can beat the fenders into shape some what. I'm thinkin of putting it on a dakota frame. Gonna have to shorten the box.[ I've got a 318 and power buckets for it already. Would like a 4 or 5 speed for it. Not planning on chopping the top. Thats the plan so far, but it will probably change as it progresses. It'll get off to a slow start as I still have to finish off the interiour of my garage. That was the deal with the wife. Happy wife, happy life.

Ok I'll post picks tomarrow a little dark right now. As for choosing the pilot house it was the butterfly hood that did it.[dr The rest grew on me.
