Budget Bed Cover Build

[Perfectly Flaw'd]

So I been wanting to build a bed cover for my truck for a while but I'm cheap and didn't wanna spend too much on it. Crazy I'll spend $225 on a battery but leave it where it could be stolen pretty easy but not spend the $65 I spent on this cover sooner than I did. [S

Anyways a buddy had some NSO pickets from past fencing jobs he sold me for a buck a piece and I sprung for some new 1" square tubing for framework and another few bucks for hasp and some pins a tractor supply for hinges. Oh and I bought some walnut stain to help match the "patina" of the truck.

All in all I think it turned out pretty cool...... and now I can keep things secure on the overnight road trips.

Cool.... Yeah I used 5/16 bolts first then stumbled across those pins and figured that'd work better.
