All the stupid Hog shows now, maybe they could get together with a biker build and have Hogs on Hogs. TV just gets dumber every year, sigh. I guess since they have enough shows to make southern people look stupid, they had to come out with one making Alaskans look like idiots too.
I'd like to see Jimmy Shine, Cole Foster, or the like, but then TV would probably ruin them like it did JJ.

I guess we normal folk don't understand how tv really works. We think that serious, no drama shows would be the thing to watch but evidently there are masses of people out there who like the Kardashians, Hog Sisters, Operation Repo, and stuff like that, and they must be in the majority.

My Son was saying that bufoon Chum Lee was on some car show and he drives something like a Maseratti because of the money he has made from Pawn Stars. I guess it all started with Boo Bear or what ever his name was on American Hot Rod, the villiage idiot is needed in the show to keep the masses entertained.

Thank God there is the History Channel and some like that. :)

Don't forget Billy the Exterminator!:eek::eek:

BoB

LOL, Billy is cool ;) Gotta love the haircut.

Yeah he was on the american Top Gear. Thank god for the BBC Top Gear and the History Channel version. Those are the only 2 shows I really look forward to on all of TV right now.

I guess it's just as well, time is better spent with my son and in the garage!

You know, must of these guys were broke, until T.V. came along. I remember J.J.'s first wife complaining he wasn't making any money. He was building a bike to trade for a lowrider. Can you imagine, without the T.V. deal, all these so-called reality stars would be standing in a bread line somewhere. Can you imagine "Snookie" trying to get a real job?

This Old House has managed to stay on the air for years without stupid people or stupid drama, Admittedly, it has gotten more scripted since Bob left, but they still talk to real people doing real jobs. And they don't dramatize a deadline, even if there really is one.

Dirty Jobs, at least the first couple seasons, was about as real as TV gets.

I think I've mentioned my bro-in-law works on Hoarders. Apparently you can not convey through the TV how vile some of those places actually are.

Just goes to show the average mentality of Americans, sigh.
I saw the show with Chum Lee, he does have an older Maserati but not a high dollar one, and a Range Rover IIRC. He's not nearly as dufus as they make him look on the show.

I can`t stand Reality shows! I used to watch American Hot Rod and American Chopper to watch how they build different things out of metal. But then it got to the point where it seemed like they did nothing but argue. Most of the time now, my TV stays on Cartoon Network. TLC, DSC, History. or one of the other like channels.

crap on tv

if you put the same old BS in a new bag, it still stinks the same:eek:

I'm impressed. I bet that took a while to type out!!!

I used to not mind Monster Garage in the early years. Some pretty creative people from different backgrounds coming together and merging skillsets for one common goal...but much like everything else on tv, sometimes the networks just don't know when to go out on a high...

Looks like they have come up with a new "Biker Buildoff Challenge". It is going to have JJ, Paul Sr, Paul Jr., and the clowns from Gas Monkey Garage.

Oh, there is a show I can't wait to see. Only people they missed were Chumlee and the crew from Pawn Stars.:p

Don

I saw that ad too. already the assmonkey jerk is running his mouth for the commercials of the show. Sadly I'll probably try watching it just to see the bikes. If the people vote, junior will probably win. The average goous likes those cartoon bikes better than the straight up kind of stuff Jesse usually turns out. I wish they'd bring back the old biker build off with some guys like Cole Foster, Russ from Exile ect. That was good TV.
