I never ask people what they paid for their new ride, but many times I would like to ask............People are always posting pictures of their latest score saying they may have paid a little too much or paid a lot less than they expected.
If anyone is into it, please post some pictures and some prices of cars you may have seen locally. It's very interesting to me how prices are so different according to geography.............Maybe others are interested also.

My last 2 purchases. The Ford P/U I paid $300.00 for. It has all the front sheet metal and most impotrantly a tilte. The Packard I swapped a 95 Cherokee with a bad motor, bad brakes and beat up body. It was probably worth $500.00 on a good day. The Packard is 100% original and had the original title. I just finished converting to 12 volt and it runs like a champ.

I saw a 71 ElCamino SS on craiglist for $2900, original 350 buckets and vinyle top. Daily driver. I've seen a couple good deals on early broncos, a 73 for $2300 and a 66 shortcab for $1500. A couple weeks ago in western Montana C-L there was a running 54 Desoto 4 door that didn't look bad for $500. Right now there is a decent looging 32 truck with a 4 banger for 4250 and it has an extra grill and some other spares. 2 nice original grills and a good running B motor are worth that.

the cab was ...i thunk 500.00 with no doors but very solid out of nj and the coupe was 4,000.00 as seen it had doors just were not on out of pa :D

Yeah, some people refuse to reveal what they paid for something but it has never bothered me to do so. We tend to pay a lot more here in Florida for stuff because of the rarity of it down here. Here are some of the prices we paid for our stuff:

1) I paid $ 900 for my '39 Dodge cab. Came out of Georgia and we drove up to get it.

2) Dan's original '29 Fordor body came out of Georgia also and he paid $ 900 for it I think.

3) His '30 Tudor body came out of Pensacola Florida and we paid $ 2200 for it.

4) Somehow we purchased his latest '49 Fordor locally and only paid $ 500 for it.

I got the old GMC delivery for 200, the 1930 for free, the 1938 was a gift for my Dad when i was a kid and he gave it to me in high school. As long as I fixed and maintained it. it was mine. Guess I'm kinda lucky.

When I put the 2 fours on I went over the $3000.00 mark on the build. New front axle hub to hub, new brakes, Lot of small new stuff., but would I sell it for that? NO!

Paid $100 for the cab on a frame.

2 I just bought!

I bought these two for $400 ea. That's about how much the steel is worth. I also bought a big slant 6 with a 727 auto for $200 that supposedly "ran when parked"!!! ; - >
