anybody using lexan for their windshield? i chopped my top so i'm curious if lexan is a good i deal.

It is really half-assed looking even when done well, and way worse when done poorly. It scratches easily and looks wavy. Just pony up and put some real automotive safety glass in it...

Agree as well.....you can buy some really good AIRCRAFT GRADE lexan...but the cost is much more than real glass!!

Plexi/lexan does not belong in place of a windshield on a street car...I driven a 27 Ford years ago with a PLEXI windshield that was just installed earlier that day....the night time view thru it drove my eyballs nuts!

If you have to go that route....just do it as a TEMP fix until you can get real glass.

AS1 laminated safety glass is the ONLY way to go. Take it from a guy who's been in the trade for 24 years.
