looking for ideas

i use a lot of scrap steel for shapes and stuff on different projects. i was wondering if any one knew a of a insteresting shape or ideas to use for above the windshield on my 31 model a town car rat rod. im missing the factory header panel on my car. Im not a big fan of a visor. So i was wondering if any one had any ideas?

Long thin area to fill. Some light metal art would interest me.
Maybe just a few thin rods or copper tubes from side to side.

47-54 GMC grill surround. Cut the middle out and flip the ends around and weld them together?

What about the nose off a hood on a 70's-80's pickup? Could roll up into the roof panel.

What you do with the header panel kinda depends on if you make other body modifications. All the changes should fit into an overall design.

What about using the dashboard that is lying by the right rear tire?
It was said above to use the front of a 50's hood.

those are 2x6's boards and some sea clamps hahaha... I am going to go to some scrap yards the week and see what i can come up with.

I agree with the old copper idea with a great patina !

I would like to try and recreate original or something close to it to be different. Everyone has a visor. Might have to try and build a buck.
