I have had this 29/30 grill shell on the wall all summer ,decide to see what it would look like on the truck.I like it so much I think its gonna stay this wayLFE
We have to reconfigure the weights-that means lower them-so the beer keg BBQ will fit.Its definatly in the worksLFE,
I think u should put a BBQ pit in the "engine compartment"! That would b 2 funny!!! I like the new look!

Well thats very interesting Mr B I bought my cab and grill at the same time and I was well into my build when I saw pics of your ride. Ever since I have wanted to do my front end like you did. And now I have done it and you like it the old way. Well I can switch from one look to the other in about 20 min.so I will probably be running it both ways , also i dont know which way will look best when the top is off and its a roadster. I also have changed the strut top brackets. Originally I had the struts attached to the tower metal to metal I took them off and used the original Fiero connector that actually has a rubber type bushing at the top. It has made my ride smooth right out. Put my original tall tires on today and took a ride and it was verey smooth , well as smooth as a 32 straight axle can be Pics are the new strut tops we fabed LFEI liked it the old way best, but change is good. Still a cool truck.
Oh, I like it either way because it is such a cool and unique truck.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Heck it is your truck, it is most important that it looks right to you. And I really mean that. You have my vote either way.
Thanks for the kind words, originaly I intended to be able to switch cabs/bodys but gave up on that idea because the vin plate is always mounted on the cab. However they put my vin plate on the frame making it possible for me to run any cab/body I want. Been looking for a 39-40 ish sedan body, it would have the engine in the back seat. Would be good for winter driving as I would not need a heater. Sedan for winter. cab with long hood for spring and fall and roadster BBQ set up for the summer.Just painted 1st coat over the yellow wheels. gonna do some small items between coats. LFELFE,
I can't say enough "COOL" about your truck. It looks too cool either way you go. The idea that you can change from one look to the other in about 20/30 mins is truely innovative IMO.
Just don't change the name.
