replacement glass

[48chevy]

i just bought a 47 chevy fleetline fastback and am have been looking around and am not able to find glass for it where does everyone get new glass for there cars?

Flatglass ? Any self-respecting glass shop can cut it out of laminated ; AS1 for the windshield and AS2 for all other glass. I know the vents, doors, and quarters (if it has them) would be flat. Can't recall if the w/s and backglass are flat or curved.

Hey 48Chevy - I just acquired a 48 Olds - pretty much the same base car. Front glass is flat also - like Sixtall said all but the back glass can be cut by a local.

I haven't found much info on these things yet. I may be trying to get a hold of you to pick your brain someday soon.
