Need suggestions for removal of broken bolt in alloy head

Was removing the thermostat housing from the cylinder head (A12 engine) of my girlfriend's 1978 Datsun 120y and broke one of the bolts off (upper right one) in the alloy head. Had about 1/4 inch of the bolt sticking out of the bolt hole. Tried to undo it with a pipe wrench (Stillson type) and...

What's your opinion on this thing?

Seen a lot of it everywhere, can remember one very very similar for sale in Just Cars mag a while a go. Only thing i dont like is the front end/grille. would look better if it was wider and taller. It came up as I'm planning on using the rear wall and roof of one on my rat. The roof is...

I'm thinking of getting an f-350 dually diff (wheel to wheel to wheel to wheel complete rear assembly haha) which is probably going to be...

    Flathead ford 8ba

How do you tell whether it's a 6-volt or 12 volt ignition/starting system without frying everything with a 12v battery first? I heard dad say the fella he got it off said that they (previous owners) converted it to 12v, used to turn over really fast when starting. Has a 12v alternator. Not sure...

how do you make a p-plate legal v8 ford flathead under 200kw?

I was wondering the other day what i would need to do to keep a flathead under 200kw. The P-plate laws in Australia (and in this case Queensland) of relevance say you can't drive high powered vehicles with any of the following: -an engine that has a power output of more than 200kw or -eight or...

Ok, here we go! There was this 1947 ford jailbar cab I used to eye off on the way to school on the bus every time we passed it on the 1hr trip to and from school. I went back along the side of the road with my car today and checked it out. The guards and front-end/radiator support with the...
