Hey, I'm new to RRR. I'm just starting a rat rod build, and I'm thinking it's going to be awhile before it ever gets on the road (since I'm in college and have little time or money, but that's what rat rods are all about!). So far I have what's left of the International, and an early 90's Chevy 1500 frame. Not sure exactly what my plans are yet, what's everyone think? I'll make a build thread soon. Also in these pics are my daily driver Chevy 1500 and my brother's southern S-10. (I'm in eastern Canada btw so it's rare to find something like this here).

Welcome to RRR! How close is the track width between the two frames? Are you planning on running fenders?

The frame itself is about 10" wider than the original, but it will fit under the cab, and I am running fenders, I'll have to cut the inner fenders to fit though. The rest of the measurements (wheelbase, cab length from firewall, etc.) are all within 2" of each other on these trucks (I measured from my 95 daily driver Chevy before I bought the other frame) so I think it should fit pretty good. I also plan to shorten the frame and build my own cross members.
Thanks for the welcomes too!

Welcome from New Mexico!
Great looking truck to start with, except for the floor. But that's the easy part.
Good luck with your build and have fun.
