that tread pattern looks mean!

i did the same work from the front back . looking real good. a few guys on here slug welded plates inside the frame where the joints came together . I did the same on mine in stress areas makes it easy to line up parts and weld later

LOL this one still has that show room smell LOL ... when I bought that cab I looked inside it and about fainted when I seen it was like new..

OH NO GJunction....... I gave it to someone who really needed it,one day of that is all I need !!

Things went better today,yesterday was a wash. I got the frame as about as close to close as I could get it, theres 3/8's inch difference in the back inside rail to rail then the front but oh well "I PLANNED THAT":rolleyes: I'll build a rear perch and two spring hangers:confused:tomorrow and attach the axel [cl [;)

Earthman when it gets done I will be passing through ur area & we will get togeather cause I'm going to run the wheels off it... I have a old friend in Gilbert that I'm going to go see so I think you'll be sitting in it at some point going WEEEEE WEEEEEE or screaming GUS SLOW DOWN GUS PLEASE..:eek:...... LOL.....
 
Ok I got the rear spring hung today, tomorrow the axel ...:D

OK, does anyone see anything wrong with this much angle ???[S the pink string is my line to the steering arm..

If'n it were my build I would shoot for as straight as possible for the drag link. Just to keep the angles all the same. Just my $.02
 
Thanx jfg done been moved.. I want someone to tell me if they see what I see in that spring :mad: OR is it suppose be like that..
I'm not saying anything I just want someone else to say it ???[S please anyone make a comment, tell me if u see anything that may be wrong with that spring, what it is hanging from is level [S...

LOL ok DirtyRat.... that was funny, I've had a few other comments on the chrome protector. yours is the best by far.... LOL,LOL
 
I'm assuming you are having trouble getting the high arch rear spring to sit level. If you look at a Model A rear crossmember (I know it's not a Model A spring) you will see that the crossmember cradles the spring over a distance of 5-6". You should have better luck if you make a mount that conforms to the spring arch and have the u-bolts 6" apart.

I've had a little trouble with stock Model A springs in a stock Model A crossmember. Had to make sure to draw each u-bolt up evenly, a little tightening on one, then the other. Back and forth.
