Thx for the kindness... the choice for the extracab was koo but a lot of choices on scale..chopped a model a back section.. model t back window section flipped the corners to the bottom from the a and door frame. From unknown desert find
Here is how I went about started with a 32 Int truck minus a back section...
I've never tackled such a task ..I've chopped yes but structures there ..little things like b pillars never meant so much ..I started looking around for ideas and parts to make it happen ..enough mubo jumbo lol
Started by narrowing the frame 5" so is to channel the body 7"
Thank you for all the thumbs up.. making something different look factory and not just hacked together with sutle mods within ..a totally fabricated project has been the challenge.. will post more build pics today..feeling good on the progress thus far with some koo ideas on finish
Sorry for the crappy pics will slow down and try to post more. Here is the motor looks a lot better raised up..had it down on the cross but sat to low I thought ...Hockey pucks yes plus if someone ever wanted to put a drop beam would have the clearance ..it sits about 6" for me its fine..plus gettingover speed bumps when take the mmunchkins to school
Super stoked. Obviously alot more to do but I'm happy with the stance and motor height now all the Lil details like brake lines floor yada yada and then paint.. Going to try a bloody cherry black fo finish will see if I can get it right.. Looks good in my. Mind but never know until you lay it down..
