I`ve noticed on vids and pics that many rats run dual rear wheel and tire. Do you run dual rear ends or do you use wheel adapter kits.

Done a search and adapters run $350.00 and up. Some of these state you need to use a certain brand of wheel. These are about $850.00 and are up, up, up.

If you use a dually rear is there specific reasons? Are they stronger than single and or dual converts with adapters?

Ive got a 76 one ton Ive been looking at for the same reason ,, the bed wont fit rite with the rear end that I have .. its the narrow type , it may be 1&1/2 inch between the spring and the tire .. bed is not going to fit down there between it .

I'll be using a full floater Chevy 1 ton dually rear end on this because it makes the wide body not look so ... odd. :)

I have used the adapters way back when, $50 and used any 5 on 5 1/2 wheels.
Most of these rods a so light the duals are mostly for looks, i'm thinking[S
A complete axle and wheels would be less than adapters and wheels. [;)

Im helpin my brother in law build a 51 load master. It will be left a dually useing the stock rear axle. I really oike the look
