Figured i'd start a build thread, been meaning to do this a long time just been lazy not even sure where to begin, guess i'll start out showing what I started with...
This is the night/day I drug it home back in May of 09
story of the truck; was originally my great grandpas, then was given to my grandpa, he started restoring it some 20+ yrs ago (I remember when I was little seeing it in the garage, when your 4-5yrs old things seem alot bigger haha) anyways, it got shoved to the back shed when he found a 47 Dodge Business coupe...thus the project sat back there til I drug it out in 09..
the original plans for the truck was to make a nice street rod, Dodge Dakota front end, all the bells and whistles 360/408 Stroker 727 8 3/4 rear end...annnnnnnd now I went the complete opposite...sort-of...
ended up picking a 392 from my uncle hes had forever for a decent price....in after picking up the 392 I decided I wanted "Rat rod" it... anyways, we end up building a frame from scratch, 2x8 front rails tapered into 2x4 with 30* kick up ...suicide front end w/ disc brakes.. coil overs out back... yada yada..
alright enough boring typing...heres some pics of how it sits as of today...
uh.....not sure what else to say lol so fire away with any comments or whatever ya got! [P
